Post Gardan Horizon

Has anyone in the UK got any information on any Gardan Horizon aircraft remaining in use in the UK? A colleague I met who used to own one explained what a nice and fast machine they are, and I am curious to see if there are any about, and possibly for sale, and any pitfalls in ownership.

There's one syndicated at Popham, I imagine if you ask down there they'll be able to put you in touch with a couple of the syndicate members to pick their brains.

I saw AYB at the PFA Fly-In and had a quick chat. Nice plane. It even has a door each side. Why can't messers, Piper, Beech etc do that?

Wink

LowNslow messers Piper and Beech only put a door one side so the pilot/captain cant escape the wreckage first to do that he/she has to climb over the pax uhh! just watch me.Its either that or they think as the a/c are used for instructing the instructor should be first out of the crashed a/c as he/she is more valuable than the student. OK. JOKING. BYE BYE.

Yesterday I saw a For Sale add. in this month's flyer magazine. A friend told me that they are not the best you can have but I know not.
