Question Tipsy Nipper

I hope to be flying one of these soon. Anybody got any handling tips to pass on ? Thanks in advance.

Wink

One Christmas, aged about 5, I found a glass of Babycham unattended.

Result?

A very tipsy nipper, indeed. Hic.

wPilot did a flight test on one ages ago. As I recall their opinion was that there were no nasty surprises and lots of fun. Like having wings bolted to your shoulders was a phrase that I remember.

Assisted a gentleman out of a pranged one at Elstree once...he was @rse over tip in the rough having gone sideways off the runway, tried to get off again, collapsed the nosewheel and flipped over...two of us just picked up the tail and set it upright again so he could climb out. I believe you don't so much as get into one as put it on!

I share a hangar with an Acro Nipper. If you'd like to e-mail me, I'll forward your details its owner. For all I know, he may already be a PPruner...
I understand the narrow track u/c is quite a problem. When he turns round in a cross wind, the aircraft will fall onto its downwind wing-tip and there it stays until either someone comes along and lifts it back or the pilot gets out and sorts it himself....
