I recently finished Jennifer Murray's "Now Solo", the account of her and Colin Bodill's record breaking round the world flights, in an R44 helicopter and flexwing microlight respectively. Apart from it being an amazing trip, she writes really well. Definitely recommended.

Try Bridge Across Forever by Richard Bach or Flying with Condors by Judy Leden. If you like biography then West witht the Night by Beryl markham or Garbo of the Skies (Story of Jean Batten) by Ian Mackersey.
