Post Tug Pilot?

Hi,
Could anyone tell me what the minimum requirements are to become a glider tug pilot?
Thanks,
GA

The club will want you to make a check flight or demonstrate experience on type - if they use a tail dragger you'll have to have had standard differences training (but maybe this is the good reason to do it you've been looking for). Also clubs often have a minimum hours requirement for tug pilots and require you to be a member and practising glider pilot. Then again, maybe your local club is desparate for volenteers - you could get a fair few free hours P1 out of it.
