Talking Flying in Cyprus

Planning to go to Cyprus soon on Holiday. I would like to hire a PA28 or bigger with a safety pilot for no more than a one or two hour flight.

Anything I should be careful of, and any recommendations please.

Thanks

Seem to be a good number of light aircraft at Larnaca airport when we taxy past. Also there is a flying club at RAF Akrotiri where they welcomed me as a visitor about 4 years ago (not sure at the moment though!).

I believe there is also a small flying club at Paphos but not certain.

AVGAS is not available on the island and given the temperatures at times I would imagine MOGAS could be interesting!

Very friendly people in Cyprus.

Extreme.
Email me and I can pass on my mates address. He lives and flys out there.
