The 180 at waltham is £125 and the turbo is £135/hr. (which is £1 per knot for both A/c)
You also get a proper club full of people interested in flying oh and no landing fees if you are a member.
How much do fairoaks charge?
E-mail me if you need more info.

Fairoaks doesn't have an arrow but if it did I shudder to think of the cost, their warrior is somthing like £140.
Thanks for the suggestion abouth the dak but does it have a floppy prop? i would also like retractable gear for the experience.

Yeah, it's basically an Arrow with the wheels welded down. So it's got a Proppy Flop, and a turbo and gives a respectable cruise. Bit less to go wrong or forget about really. I believe the rate will be VERY competitive - almost certainly less than Fairoaks' warrior.
It's a work colleague of mine who will be renting it, all pukka, full public Cat and gizmos, proper check out required but a decent aircraft by all accounts. I'll certainly be having a go at some point.
