I've been into Dakar a few times recently. There are a few light twins (PA34 type stuff))on the ramp. Don't know if there's a flying club there.

Thanks for the reply. There is a club there who have three PA-28s which I have joined but seems very quite. I want to do some flying inland toward Mali and maybe Mauritania and looking for someone with some experience to give pointers.

Hi Senkrcha,

Forgive my question, but isn't that area around Mauritania still a UN declared War zone? anyway if not, give me an E and I will pass to you the co-ordinates of a recently crashed (nearly) a/c that still has some goodies on board( alledgedly) might be worth a trip for you!
