Flying from Key West

Will shortly be in Florida for a few weeks and have a bit of time staying in Key West, was thinking about doing some flying while down there. Have tried google and "search" here, but it all seems to be about flying to/from KW from somewhere else in FLA.

Has anyone actually hired an aircraft based down there, ideally just want to do a hour or two with an instructor, rather than bother getting a rental check-out.
If not I guess I'll just have to do it somewhere round Orlando.

There's a guy there who takes people up for biplane rides; don't know if he's an instructor, but it might be worth a try!

Key West Pitts.

Did 5 hours of aeros and conversion to a Pitts S2 a few years ago. Great fun and very professional instruction. Instructor was Pete Balzly.
