Not a website, but the Confuser will have every formula you need with worked examples (I seem to recommend it so much I should be on commission. I'm not Neung Sornying, honest ).

I have just completed my PPL about 5 months ago and the calculations that everyone talks about i think go way over the top. Its true that you need to fuel/speed/distance/time/drift calculations but they simply come after practice. As many pilots will tell u navigation is not a precise art and you sometimes have to use the TLAR method (That looks about right). But I admit that it is defintely good to have it all in your brain but it all comes eventually. And remember always do a weight and balance!!. .I agree with Evo7 the PPL Confuser is very good it got me through all my ground exams.. .. .Good Luck . .. .Tom

One useful website is:. .. .http://www.caa.co.uk/srg/general_aviation/document.asp?groupid=231. .. .and I suspect most pilots could learn a thing or two from it...
