Cabair have a Saratoga available for hire. They can be contacted on 01959 573 583. Nice machine, took it down to Ibiza, you get 160kts in the cruise.

I'm also looking for a five or six seat single in the south-east. It must be cheaper than flying and keeping current on a twin!

I know nothing of such machines but there are some shiny looking ones (a Saratoga and a Malibu I believe) for rent from ModernAir at the delightful Fowlmere airfield, near Royston, Herts.

I think Billins may have a Cherokee 6 for hire at Cranfield.

Slightly off topic, but there doesn't seem to be many C210s in the UK? Or are they just not available for hire?

Stampe. .. .Good to hear that G-DENI (formerley G-BAIA) is still going strong.. .. .She was a bit noisy as I recall, but a very solid aeroplane and I did more than a few hours in her in the mid 90s when she was at Southend.. .. .BTW, Modern Air can be contacted on 01763 208280 and I rent Archers/Arrows from there which are immaculate: expect the Saratoga's to be the same. Derick Gunning charges premium rates in my experience, but I've flown there since 1995 and always found their planes good value for money.
