Post looking for somewhere to operate near teesside

Hi, looking to buy a luscombe 8E, but having problems trying to find hangerage and an airfield or farm strip to fly from. Fishburn are full, teesside too expensive. Anybody got any ideas or connections out there?. .. .Thanks . .

Shanwick no i've not tried peterlee, have you got any details as to hangerage etc?, its about as far north as I really want to go though. Croft is another place i'm trying to get details on. Bagby has room for some microlights, Catterick closes at the end of the year & Dishforth is a no go unless I call it a glider , it could be a plan.

Thanks ianhogg, its a bit too far for me, but its good to see an airfield being developed rather than destroyed!,sounds just the place to pop into on summers day.
