Oregonian's Plane Missing in Utah
The Utah County, Utah Sheriff's Office is looking for a missing plane registered to an Oregon owner.
The plane was reported missing Monday afternoon after leaving a Salt Lake County airport that morning. The plane took off from Municipal Airport No. 2 in West Jordan at 8 a.m. headed toward the Deer Valley Airport, near Phoenix, Ariz.
Registered to an owner in Oregon, the plane only had one person aboard. The Federal Aviation Administration said a single-engine Beech aircraft had been reported missing by a family member Monday night.

This particular area is a tough, desolate place in the winter time, and I have spent a lot of time in horrendous conditions (and places) waiting for the weather to improve.
Condolences to the family.
