Aerbabe - Yep Flying over the rockies is fantastic. . .Flying through the massive valleys on landaways to cities in the middle of the mountains is even better. Brilliant scenery this time of year! If its not to cold to start the jets that is! Oh it is....another day grounded.
I suppose the Welsh mountains are a close 2nd though.
Enjoy

Get all 3 half mile UK charts on the wall put a pin in cov and attach string give the string some scale pick a distance close your eyes and pick a location.
The fun is not about where you go its how get there. (although Amsterdam is well worth a visit)

Just to get back to Aerbabes original...
I'd say forget paying £100 an hour for club aircraft (you've passed that hurdle) and get some free flying down at a gliding club, aerotowing - Admittedly that'll probably require 100P1 and some tailwheel time but let's you get loads of hours and some quality stick time - for virtually nothing. Behind the Old-Guard facade most gliding clubs are desperate for some new blood!
Good luck - enjoy your flying whatever you do...
