Class 3 Medical Rules

Be grateful if anyone can help with this.
I had my last Clas 3 medical three years ago, so due again in two years. But I've just turned forty, and don't know what the new JAR rules are. Am I OK for two years or do I need a new one?
Thanks in anticipation

The validity of your old medical will not have changed as I recall. I.e. it will be for 5 years, but not past your 42nd birthday if that comes earlier.
You will then renew to JAR class 2, with the addition of ECG. This will be valid then for 2 years.
