If you want to build hours quickly and cheaply I suggest a short holiday in America, although if you have less than 50hrs multi you may have trouble with solo rental. Some years ago I found American Flying Adventures in Florida willing to rent me a Seneca when I had low hours. Tropair at Biggin have a Seneca 3.
There is also one run by Palmeraviation at Fairoaks. Both about £250/hour.
