Post A lot of Bovver to Hover?

When I'm not flying proper aircraft, I'm thinking of building and flying a hovercraft, or even a WIG craft. It can't be that hard and must be a lot cheaper than renting a Cessna, but has anyone got any advice or horror stories before I dive in?

Yes, don't EVER try to pull up to avoid something. If you do manage it you will immediately receive a visit from the CAA about Rule 5 of the ANO.

Try www.neoterichovercraft.com or hovercraft.org.uk or se-technology.com\wig\.

The neoteric hovercraft look great but they are not cheap.

Could be a nice little project for next winter.......
