2 rare and unique 4engine Proptransports from the past are being preserved in flying condition by way of the Berlin Airlift Historical Foundation from Toms River N.J. Both aircraft are flying museums dedicated to Berlin Airlift & Cold War yrs history. The C-54 Skymaster is soon to be joined on the flghtline by the groups new addition the very rare Boeing C-97(377)Stratocruiser.Only 2 of these mighty STRATS survive Today that are AIRWORTHY! When complete the museum will be on a mission of history & education for all to see.She is getting ready for ferry flight home EAST to the hangar in the NYC/NJ area sometime this spring.The BAHF is a non profit all volunteer corporation dedicated in preserving these 2 great Proptransports & keeping them back in the skies for all to view.Help & support is always welcomed to join our ranks in this aviation project.

What excellent news,stories such as these are becoming fewer & fewer especially in the UK,our powers that be should take a look at how the yanks preserve there aviation history,usually in a fitting tribute to all the service personnel both past & present.
