private ops vs. commercial ops.

i was wondering if someone could please help me out on this because this area seems to have a few gray spots.
i am a commercial pilot in australia working for a non aviation company with its own aircraft under private ops. from what i gather it is ok to be paid as a pilot under this scheme because i hold a CPL. Can i take people outside the company to mine sites ect. or would this be against regulations?? please help.

Jimmy,

you may want to post this under Questions (Ops section) rather than here, this is the section for "amateurs"....... like me....
