Hi, Low Radiation - I got PPL about 5 yrs ago and started training for IMC, when I realised that I might as well go for Night at the same time and save 3 hrs on the IMC Training. It's worth trying to do your IMC in a fairly continuous block, as I had several breaks in mine and 3 years on, still haven't passed my test (long story, but not helped by skills perishing in meantime!!).

I used Thom Vol 5 and the IMC Confuser for mine, which meant that I passed my exam first time.

I MUST complete my IMC!
I MUST complete my IMC!
I MUST complete my IMC!
I MUST complete my IMC!
I MUST complete my IMC!
....etc!

Hi CircuitBasher,
Thanks for the recommendation, I didn't realise the night rating could count for 3 hours of IMC rating, I have already discussed doing night rating with my instructor, maybe I can do the rating in the middle of IMC course.
Thanks again, will let you know how I get on.
