To all who new this dear person Helena Hamilton died on friday 24 august.A true avitrix she had her medical training interupted by the second world war so decided to serve in Burma as a nurse after the war she finished her training and then learnt to fly.Among her friends the late S/ldr John Parkes of DeHaviland fame.She was the long time owner of the D/H Hornet Moth G/AHBL in which even in her mid 70s she wandered across Europe. Also a dear friend of mine. R.I.P.

Hi Mr moto Denmark you are correct I once accompanied her in CESSNA 150 to Stauning from Ipswich to return some trophys that she had won the previous year.The postal system just wasnt going to be good enough.So Ipswich at 5.30am after an early sart from Chesterfield,Stauning by 1530 back as far as Texel by 2045 and still she was willing to carry on.But I was Knacked,That was when she was 73.Dont make them like that now BYE FOR NOW
