TAF validity?

Hi

I am about to do my met exam and the only thing I am now stuck with is TAF validity. So far as I understand a short TAF is 9 - 12 hours and a long TAF is 12 hours or longer? But there is now a 30 hour TAF so would this be classed as a long TAF in the exam or is it still using 9 and 12 hour TAF validity periods? It probably won't come up in the exam but knowing my luck it will!

Thanks for any info!

I think that this is almost certainly a case where the real world has pulled ahead of the exams.

So, for the real world, apply your real world knowledge - and for PPL exams, use the out of date information in the textbooks.
