Mayday nr Abbeville 28 Jun, Cub with engine fire

Heard parts of this incident from far away on 121.5. --- a very competent Mayday Relay from an accompanying aircraft and believe the Cub was later reported safely down. Hope so.

Telling that no French agency responded and the incident appeared to be dealt with by London Centre!!! Sounded very well handled.
