Question com frequencies

Is there any web sites which have the upto date twr/app frequencies for uk airfields. It would be useful when flight planning to have somewhere to check them, plus I won't spend 10 mins circling overhead Burscough trying to contact Warton on 124.45 when it should be 129.52
Before anybody says it I have bought a current chart this afternoon.

In extremis I guess you could always call London Information, or ask whichever ATS unit you are working, rather than boring holes in the sky around Burscough whilst scrabbling through your flight guides etc

There is also a fairly comprehensive listing at www.lindsay.flyer.co.uk/airfield.htm

edited to plug my website. :-)

Umm, isn't that what Pooley's and Bottlang books are for!?

The most comprehensive listings that I have come across are at:

http://www.frequencyuk.co.uk/

But I can't personally vouch for the accuracy or the up-to-dateness, but I would be surprised if it was not very good.

A useful digest for civil airbands that is very usable can be found at:

http://www.lowe-electronics.com/frequencylist.htm

Again, the same caveats apply.

I came across these while researching what airband scanner to buy. As a matter of interest I chose the Yupiteru MVT7100 - from ASK electronics, who had the cheapest price.

Kabz has provided you with the website for the entire UK AIP, the one the others are copied from.

Ah Noggin - don't forget the AIP doesn't cover unlicensed fields. I'd hazard a guess that there are considerably more unlicensed than licensed

Thanks for those.
I didn't realise all that info was available FOC online from AIS.
Any recomendations as to Bottlang, Pooleys or AFE flight guide.

Noggin,

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the AIP site lists civil aerodromes only - not government (military). Nor does it list UHF bands - which I readily admit are not necessary for normal private flying, but which may be of interest nonetheless.

It can sometimes be interesting to hear the other side of a conversation!

Ok then lets set the trend here?.

Humberside (EGNJ)App/VDF/LARS changed frequency from 124.675 to 119.125 about two weeks ago with very little notice, this freq is therefore out of date on latest charts and Pooleys have yet to advise me, even my Skymap with latest database recently installed (Feb2001) is out of date and has the old EGNJ frequency!.

So there we are, Humberside is now 119.125 and NOT 124.675.

Own up, how many knew that?.
