On a serious note I have a lesson learned.
I was supposed to be flying EK that afternoon and but for a late change in my diary would have been pre flighting this da-40 at the time the accident occurred.
Now honestly, when under an aircraft draining its gascolator how aware are you of the movements of other aircraft around you on a busy airfield?
I can't truthfully say that I would have been aware of the out of control nature of the cessna with enough time to get clear.
Like my father always told me: " treat everyone as if they're out to get you!"
