I don't think this is any different to what it always has been for the last few years, is it? This OR is 'the (general) permission', albeit with the latest Article number and now valid for a further three years, which the AIC from 2008 says you have if you comply with the conditions in the AIC. Or has something changed?

I think its away of saying that 1 Article 159 of the Air Navigation Order 2005 as defined in the AIC is now Article 266(1)(c) of the Air Navigation Order 2009. What one used to call an Amendment!
