Wickenby Invitation
Hello Private Flying Pruners!
Wanted to invite you all to our Summer event at Wickenby Airfield, near Lincoln. Wings and Wheels takes place on Father's Day weekend (great reason to bring your kids and make them pay for you!) on 19-20th June.
We'll be having flying displays both days including the Airco DH2, Tigermoth, Harvards, Chipmunk, The Breighton Collection, Sukhoi 26, Cap 232, Thruster microlight pair, Siai Marchetti SF260, Spitfire and Lancaster (all subject to weather/serviceability). We have vintage vehicles, 4x4 off roading, children's attractions and lots to eat/drink.
There's free landings/entry to the event for all visiting aircraft and overnight camping (fee £5 donation for Lincs Air Ambulance). Please PPR prior to setting off to find out air display times etc..
And finally, on Saturday night we have a 40s hangar concert and three course meal with fund raising entertainment in our former Lancaster hangar. Tickets booked at - [email protected]
So do hope you can make it. More details can be found here:

Hi MD600 Driver,
Sorry I haven't got back to you sooner, but the owners of Wickenby Airfield would like you to know:
"There is no Helicopter Operator based at Wickenby, however we have lots of regular Heli visitors all of which are made very welcome. Breighton club members enjoy reciprocal rights by simply producing their membership card so do not pay landing fees. Nobody has an exclusive right to use Wickenby and we welcome all."
So hopefully we will see you very soon!!
