A man has been treated in hospital after his light aircraft crashed in a field in Devon.
The plane, which came down near Ridgey Croft, Newton Abbot, at about 1535 BST on Saturday, is believed to have suffered engine failure, police said.
The pilot, a 59-year-old man from Bristol, was the only person on board. He suffered suspected spinal injuries and a broken arm. His condition is not believed to be life-threatening. The pilot, who also suffered facial injuries, was taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth for treatment.
