Simulator trips
Is there such a thing as a simulator (that is open to the public) for something like a TBM 850 or Malibu Meridian? Just for fun of course. And also perhaps a big jet sim (747 / A340), something like that, or perhaps a fast business jet sim?

My boss recently got to fly a big jet sim (BMI Airbus of some sort I think) for a few hours with a relative (who's received the trip as a gift) - cost a flipping fortune by all accounts though
Edit: I think is was here: Flight Simulator Experiences - Simulator Experience Gifts - Fly a Simulator - Virtual Aviation

Was lucky enough - about 12 years ago to have a couple of hours in a Nimrod sim.
It was great fun and you really did forget it was a Sim when you started to concentrate on the approach, (which i did mess up).

I seem to remember seeing someone with a flight simulator in the Westfield Shopping Center when I last visited. I think it's run by the same people who run the one in Bluewater.

If anyone happens to visit Moscow, there are two wonderful opportunities.
One is a full-motion 737NG simulator available to general public at a reasonable price. There is no booking info on the English page, but the Russian one lists the telephone number: +7 985 306 99 20.
The other is a still less expensive Su-27 simulator (with 2 axes of motion) (site in Russian only).

European Aviation at Bournemouth offer a range of simulators inc. 727, 737 and 747-200. I tried the 747 which was pretty good except for the graphics which were a bit like MSFltsim about 20 years ago.
If anyone does try it and they get a lady instructor, when she tells you to turn right she really means left, just like mrs p1
