He had absolutely no right or power to do this.
So how would one deal with such a situation?

A Plod is judge, jury and executioner - unless you are really sharp and have some good phone numbers in your phone.

He can simply invent a story that you assaulted him...

Presumably Plod won't know one can undelete the files very easily - so long as one has not taken any more pics.

They must be pretty stupid becasuse, if a Spy was taking pictures, thye would have some fancy thing that stored the pics in a secret place.

However. i don't think the guy i was talking about was going to argue with them

... unlike nearby Fylingdales which would probably fry you as punishment for entering their airspace,.

It used to be the start/ end point of one of the heli routes published for Leeds (preferred exit lane for north bound heli trafic from Coney Park, route Pool/ Menwith). So a sort of VRP even if not published on a CAA chart.

As usual, a load of cobblers being talked here, along with a lot of sense ... it's obvious who the locals are !

Watch out for the highly trained killer bees they keep in those radomes ...

There is no restriction on the airspace, the place isn't even acknowledged on CAA charts (other than "aerials" if I remember rightly). It was indeed used informally by LBA ATC as a VRP and zone entry/exit until 9/11 (obviously not when they were stacking up 737s ... ) ...

Never had any problem flying near/over Menwith, in fact we used to practice PFL's nearby into a couple of large flat fields, if I remember right next to the A59. This was however a fair while ago when the world was less mental than it is now!
