It looks like Airtime Aviation Holdings was formed one month before Airtime Aviation was liquidated and insolvency practitioner appointed at the beginning of December 2009. Companies House makes for interesting reading.

Airtime
I rang them today and was told they are not in liquidation or administration. I am referring here to the maintenance company. There is a raft of different Airtime businesses.

On the occassions I've used them, they have treated me very well and did an excellent job - not something I can say of most firms I've been to...
And their paint shop does the best paint jobs I have seen anywhere (UK).

Airtime Paint = no problem
Airtime France (Charters) = no problem
Airtime Aviation Ltd i.e. maintenance is in liquidation as the company is insolvent
WebCHeck - Select Search Results
Airtime Aviation Holdings was incorporated on November 10th 2009 just 21 days before declaring Airtime Aviation insolvent on 1st Dec 2009. The information is all on the Companies House website. What appears to have happened is that one company has been liquidated with a great deal of debt including unpaid fine to the CAA and another one has been started conveniently writing off all those debts and staying in business.
It's up to individuals whether or not they choose to continue doing business with this company but at least some background knowledge has now been made available.

I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole, these days, especially after the "logbook" incident. And also many other personal experiences....including brakes failing on the taxi to the end of the runway just after the plane had been in their shop for 2 weeks having the brakes looked at. I could list a whole host of issues if I wanted.
The paint shop is superb though.

Several things which I'd rather not repeat in public...only to say that we were not happy with the service on a number of occasions. These included failures after maintenance on more than one occasion, high pricing, and annuals which seemed to have been completed in record quick time (is an afternoon to quick for a STAR annual?).
I'm sure there are many good engineers there, I just don't think any of them touched our aeroplane. Perhaps that was the fault of some biblical character.

Spot of bad luck you're having Studentbiggles, working for that clown!! I too have a few interesting facts about airtime aviation france/ airtime charters/ airtime paint/ airtime maintenance (the latest fad in airtime names)!!!
Airtime paint i have heard got taken away from the biblical character by the silent partner or airtime, as that was the only part of the airtime conspiracy that actually made money. airtime paint is not the issue. I think that the money got filtered out of paint thru aviation/charters.......and then found its way into the restuarant business.
The biblical character did however perform some true miracles when it came to aircraft maintenance inspections!
drususnero, companies house does make for interesting reading.....however under new laws if a Ltd company goes into liquidation, debtors can now legally chase the director/s for the outstanding debt!! I wouldn't deal with them i they were the last company on the planet.

Just picked up a copy of "Pilot" mag and in the back is an advert by "Aviation Paint Ltd (formerly Airtime Aviation Paint Ltd)" 01202 579999.
It looks like they are back
