Kirkbride Open Day - 25th July
Just an early heads up that this years Kirkbride Airfield Open Day (West of Carlisle) will be taking place on Sunday 25th July. Once again it's held in association with Solway Light Aviation, in support of the Great North Air Ambulance.

Pleased to announce the sound of Merlin engines will be echoing around the airfield thanks to the BBMF with it's DC-3 and 2 x Spitfires.

Received an update today, lost the BBMF Spits, still got the DC-3, but have gained the following...

Just a bump as the event is this coming Sunday and also to add that there will hopefully be an appearance by at least 1 maybe 2 Jet Provosts.

The weather seems to be forecast to be a bit better than last year as well - though anything is better than last year!!
