Racquel Welch, Richard Briers and a Cessna 172 ......
....starred in a 1960's spy spoof film called Fathom, Does anybody have a copy and can identify the Cessna.

Is that the film where Racquel wore extremely tight fitting parachuting coveralls?(or am I getting confused with Ursula Andress in 'What's New Pussycat?')

I believe it was G-ASIL and my claim to fame is that it a piston broke up on me going into Jersey in it in 1983 and I VERY nearly went for a swim with 3 passengers just off the coast as it happened about 10 miles off and at 6,000 ft. We did make the front page of the Jersey Evening Post which I was glad to read the following morning from a nice warm bed in a Jersey Hotel

The pic is G-ATSL, however (memory allowing) wasnt G-ASIL used in a Bond film and wasnt it a blue and white Cherokee? Prepared to stand corrected......

I know this isn't Jetblast, but let me get this straight: We have Racquel Welch
, Richard Briers (whom we can leave out of the contest), a C 172, a Rapide and a Cherokee, and most of the attention is on the spamcans. My interest in aviation obviously needs to progress further.
