how to revalidate radio telephony licence?
Quick and easy question..
How do you revalidate a radio telephony licence when it get to its expiry date listed on the licence? Is there any kind of test involved or is it a case of sending more money to the CAA only?

If its a stand alone FRTOL you complete the Form SRG 1106 and read Note 1. Send the required evidence and Fee to the CAA.
If its attached to another flight crew licence it will be renewed automatically with that licence free of charge.
Applicants wishing to renew an existing FRTOL, but who do
not hold any other UK Flight Crew Licence, shall provide evidence of operating an aircraft radio station in an aircraft certified,
registered or permitted by the UK Authorities or, on international public transport flights in an aircraft of any registration, in the 36
months immediately preceding this application. Evidence shall take the form of a log book maintained in accordance with the
ANO currently in force, clearly showing flights during which the applicant acted as a Flight Radiotelephony Operator. Where the
flights were made on behalf of a Company, a certificate from the employer shall certify that the operation took part on behalf of
the company.
