Flying or Sailing....part 2
A few will remember my post a few weeks ago with regard a move from sailing back into flying.
Well today I have just discovered my yacht has been sold...
to be honest I now feel a little lost and feel like a part of my body has been cut off. She looked after me well through both good time's and bad and I know I will miss her like crazy...but now I look forward to a new adventure in life. Its through both my day job ( Scottish Information ) and the enthusiasm of folk on here that I may take the step back into the air.......I guess I will need the encouragement of you all along the way but today a new story in my life is about to unfold!

I'm sure you know perfectly well the old saw that there are only two happy days in a boatowner's life - the day that he buys the boat and the day that he sells her!
Good luck and VMT for your many very entertaining posts.
Jack
PS There's always charter ......

It's a buyers market in the motor boat world at the moment. We looked at one recently marked up at £24,950(6 berth/twin diesels); the salesman said 'make an offer, you'll get it for 18 or 19 thousand'. We actually bought a different one for a bit more, but still a bargain.
You can get a 4 berth for as little as £6,000 to £10,000 at the moment, especially if it's petrol engined.

Remember, if it flys, floats or f###s, it's cheaper to rent!

Only if you aren't bothered about who else has been f~~~~~~g it
