Anyone using an Android (Google) phone?
I've developed a Weight & Balance calculator for it. A free version is available on the Android Market. Just search for "Appventive".
Main features:
Details and screen shots available at Weight and Balance Calculator (Appventive)
If you do try it out, I'd love to hear what you think of it.
Cheers,
Steve
Main features:
- Supports most single-engine piston airplanes
- Can be configured for any number of different aircraft
- Supports both US and Metric units
- Calculates maximum fuel allowed for a given passenger and baggage loading (taking into account CG as well as weight)
- Supports both AvGas and Jet-A (based on SG)
- Share W & B reports via email
- Keep a log of changes to aircraft profiles
- Load balancing: get both weight shift & ballast suggestions when CG is out of bounds.

Cheers.
what SDK do you use to develop Android programs? Is there a free version available for download anywhere?
I used to mess around with CE making flying apps, and it would be quite handy to write a few progs.
Thanks.

Yes, actually Android is completely open source. To get started, visit
Android Developers
Let me know if you have any questions (I can't promise I'll know the answer, but I might:-).

Steve
