lekrious, did you read any of the threads iln any of the forums before posting?
If you did, what on earth gave you the impressions that posting a message like that would get you an answer?
Around these bulletin boards are some very experienced pilots - instructors, examiners, CAA and AAIB employees, test pilots, airline pilots, fleet managers and chief pilots, etc. etc.
Would you walk up to someone you didn't know, the like of these pilots, in a bar, slap them on the back and say "Yo!!!! Whassup bro?"
Have some respect.

Don't go with any school that restricts you just for wanting to pay as you go. That should immediately make you suspect their priorities - they are nothing to do with you and your experience. Cabair have a bit of a reputation like that anyway.

Don't go with cab air, they will rip you off, i started my PPL and took my business else where!
Really look at other school's stapleford etc.
I ended up finishing my PPL with a bloke from bournemouth, really cheap and reliable.
If you want his contact details drop me a P.M
cheers Adam

Whoever you do go with make sure there's a proper programme for you and that if you're struggling at some point the instructors you've used so far can have a meeting with you and CFI and discuss on the ground what's going wrong and work out a suggested remedy.
It's too easy for the school to go on taking the money while you rack up the hours getting nowhere.
In my former day job,(non-aviation) if we spotted a trainee who was making heavy weather of his training we organised a meeting and worked out a plan. This , in my experience, is a rare occurrence in flight schools. And I'm speaking from personal experience here.
