Dukes of Cassutt - where have they gone?

I just opened my LAA magazine to find that all three Cassutts are for sale. Anyone know what has happened to this team, which seemed to do so well.

If only I had £18k to spare - and was 15 years younger - oh and about two stone lighter

Richard and his oppos have been working up a 3 ship single seat Pitts team, almost as good as the late Nelson Formation!

Good luck to the lads!

(Can't believe that Richard still has time to fly the family Spitfire, now he has a Pitts Special!)

They are nice ones I agree but £18k is a hell of a lot for a Cassutt

With such a glut of Cassutts on the market at once the selling price coud be a lotless than the asking price! Don't be shy about making a lower offer.

Always liked them, one of the few aircraft I'd consider trading my Nipper for (in the same price range of course!)

Pity I wont fit in one and I'm far too lardy at 6'3" and 14.5 st !!!!

You'd need a hell of a lot longer runway than the nipper!

Well 50m would do me in the Nipper for a ground run....so even double that is only 100m!
