RA(T) around Silverstone until 29 Aug
Please note that there is a temporary restricted area around Silverstone until the end of August for the World Aerobatic Championships.
I know a lot of pilots, instructors and students use Silverstone as a turning point but please be aware that there is a 2.5 mile radius exclusion zone and that you will probably not be given permission to fly through it because there will be aerobatics taking place.
Mod... can you make this a sticky until the end of Aug?

Hi all
I would like to 2nd that request for a sticky, i was amazed how many people i had to tell about the airspace over the last few days and stop them flying straight through the aerobatic box , if you want to transit locally use us here at Turweston we are on the edge of the Silverstone RAT . i must say i do get a great view from my tower window looks straight at the box and the flying is fantastic
Regards Chris Brown

The results so far are here
http://www.civa-results.com/2009/WAC...sQ,1,2and3.htm
But there are still about another 35 or so pilots to fly. It is encouraging to See Gerald Cooper from the UK doing so well and we have Mark Jefferies and Tom Cassells yet to fly.
Don't forget that this is just the qualifying flight which determines the flying order ( a bit like Formula 1 qualifying determines the grid position). These results will not count towards the final result.
