I have flown over this airfield many times and it looks like it used to be a satellite military dispersal option for the nearby Cambrai Epinoy airbase.
It is now listed as a combined military/civilian base for glider activity with launch cables up to 1,000' AGL. The original main runway ( 2350m) appears to be disused and there are parallel grass (800m) and hard runways (900m) on 08/26. The grass may be reserved for gliders.
In Bottlang there is an operator listed as Union Aeronautique du Cambraisis on telephone number +33 3 27 81 26 56. It states Avgas is available and there is an Air/Air frequency of 122.92. You also need to speak to Cambrai Approach (Epinoy) on 119.7 (or maybe 118.52 Tower) to clear through their zone (and to check gliding activity). The whole area comes under Lille AIS on 126.47
