Talking Changes in ATC services

Hi,

I am aware that air traffic services have all been changed in the last few months, but have been unable to find any online details for this. I have not been able to fly since last october, and was hoping to be up on the changes before i commit any aviation this summer!

Many Thanks

S

Well I hate to say you have not looked very hard try googling ATSOCAS.

If you are a licenced pilot you should have receieved a free CD from the CAA assuming your address is up to date.

Want some to fly the aircraft for you as well?

CAP774 has everything you want to know about UK Flight Information Services - I suggest that you read and understand it.

but you can't be bothered then

FIS is now BASIC
RIS is now TRAFFIC
RAS is now DECONFLICTION

or something close to that.

It is AT but not C. It is ATS. In fact it is ATS OCA....
Here is the definitive document:

Have fun.....

Thank you ever so much!

Will get up to speed with all the changes, but have been struggling for time to brush up on things due to these A level things.

You may find this useful:

It is pretty much what was on the CD.
