incident at Bidford

I was listening on 121.5 this afternoon and heard Mayday for an incident involving a Starduster near the glider site at Bidford-on-Avon. Does anybody have any details? I hope everybody is OK but it sounded quite serious at the time.

AOL news reporting a glider fatality (not the midair incident).

Condolences extended to all affected today.

I was also listening on 121.5. The reg given as the downed aircraft was not a glider (I checked on G-INFO). It sounded like there was only one aircraft involved so it wasn't the glider/Tutor midair.

I hope the pilot is okay but it did sound serious.

We were on 121.5 for a time and there was a call going out every few minutes for G-BCPN. Hope he was ok?
