Just an RT thought?

Recently we all had to change to the new ATSOCAS RT system, with it's 'Basic Service', 'Traffic Service', etc. In 2012 when we all come under the new EASA european system, will we all have to revert back again so that we are all singing from the same hymn sheet, or will we have a new non-standard standard?

( I bow to the more informed or more knowledgeable )

As my dad used to say, "dafter things have happened at sea."

Perhaps the CAA will claim an exemption to hide their embarrassment ,or then again perhaps we should have kept to internationally recognised phraseology in the first place, instead of change for change's sake.. Boris von Ricthoven arriving from Gutersloh has no idea what "basic" is anyway...
