Piper Archer & Century HSI

Looking for a bit of help.

Can anyone recommend a company or individual that has an in depth knowledge of the operation and repair of Century 360 NSD slaved HSI’s.

PM me if you wish.

Thanks

A good contact for repairs of mechanical instruments is Pandect (do a google).

They quoted me £500 or so for doing the bearings on a stuck vacuum driven KI-256 horizon, which was otherwise perfect. I discovered this after I sent it to the USA for a $3000 exchange overhauled unit which turned out to be significantly off vertical

I have used R J calibration for a number of air driven gyros in the last year or so and can recomend them, it has got to be worth a phone call to see if they can fix your unit.
