License expires next Monday

Hi folks

My license expires next week, I have been a plank and forgot to renew it

Anybody been to Gatwick to renew and if so any tips? I plan to get there tomorrow by 0800, Is there a dedicated place to go and do I need an appointment, too late to ring them now and tomorrow is the only free day I have due work commitments

Go to the main CAA place at Gatwick - you won't get further than the front desk - where you have to sign in, then you go through the security barriers and its the office on the right (you can see through the glass windows). Go in there and to the desk and speak with someone there. I wouldn't have thought its a problem to get your licence renewed, they are usually pretty helpful if you turn up.

The Belgrano....

Get there as eraly as possible, get your ticket from the 'Deli Counter' and then go have brekky in the canteen on the top floor. Top notch!

Just hope you don't get stuck behind one 'Thomas Cook' cadet who has been nominated to deliver his 10 course mates applications!

Look on google map too as it can be very hard to find the first time out. A23 via the round-about and underpass to the North of the Eastern Threshold.

Type in CAA Aviation House and it pops up a treat.
