Mountain Flying / Chamonix
I'm planning a long weekend in August to visit some relatives who will be staying in Chamonix (nr Mont Blanc) and it seems like 3 airports are fairly conveniently located for this location: Annemasse, Annecy and Chambery.
I thought while I was there it might be intersting to get some formal mountain flying instruction and wondered whether anyone had any recommendations for a suitable instructor at any of these places?
As it's not too far away, it might be interesting to do a checkout at Courchevel...

Fixed wing or rotary? And do you speak any French?
For fixed wing, I would get in touch with the Aéroclub de Megève, or if you hang from a gearbox, perhaps Mont Blanc Helicopters can advise you. Both are in Megève which is 35 minutes from Chamonix. I can pass the contact details on too you if needed.
