Hot Air Balloon Over NW London

Did anyone see the (unteathered) hot air balloon over NW London this morning?

It (appeared) to be floating in a north-westerly direction at about 7.30am - I'd estimate approximately over Hampstead Heath.

This story has been blown up totally out of proportion, it was a Hungarian registered balloon. HA-PPY40TH according to the Mirror

That tickled me.

So it was a whole lot of hot air then?

It had "Happy Birthday" written on the side and what looked like a UK phone number.

Strange thing to see over central London.

Hillarious responses though, really!

Planes are not normally very pointy, and they don't have good aerodynamic properties:

Time to go to Specsavers, perhaps?
