Turbine Single Engine on JAA PPL

I was wondering if anyone in JAA/Future EASA-land knows what is the situation on flying turbine on a PPL license - is this possible at all (is there a SET(L) rating)?

I understand under FAA this would be considered a "high performance" and "complex" (and possibly "pressurised") Single Engine (Land) aircarft and can be operated on a PPL "certificate".

There is a JAA SET licence. On the FAA is is just "differences" training to suit your insurer.

Turbine on PPL

As usual FAA much more practical than CAA on this topic. Operate a Turbine Cessna P210 Conversion in UK.(O&N Silver Eagle)
Owners fly with FAA PPL/IR. Suitable difference training agreed with insurers is all that was required.

In JAA land, something like a Cessna Caravan would be covered by a Cessna SET Class Rating.

An FAA ASEL class rating would cover it, subject as you say to your also having a high performance endorsement (because it has more than 200 bhp).
