Where can I find an A4 Leather Cloth Flightboard

Hi all,

As the title suggests I'm looking for an A4 flightboard.
To the best of my knowledge, and that of my of FI Instructor, they do exist and as Transair stock an A3 version is seems rather strange that there isn't any of the A4 variety.

I don't mind the price, in fact if I can find one my instructor will stump up and pay for it

So can you help me out of having to buy the beers for the rest of the course?

For the example this is the A5 version this is the one from Transair
Transair Leather Cloth Folding Kneeboard

Thanks again

Are you doing your PPL in a 737?

Most GA aircraft have barely enough space for an A5 kneeboard. An A4 one is going to be very inconvenient and possibly dangerous due to interference with the controls.

And if you can't cram the info you need on an A5 kneeboard, learn to write smaller!

Ball point pen on the bank of the left hand works well, too

Fortunately guys, I already have the PPL, CPL and the MEIR.

Hence the reason why I mentioned my FI instructor.
And I used my old A4 board for all my flying right from effects of controls to holds and beyond.

Although I did use to have a lot more space when I started in a PA28 and I can't believe its because I'm getting older and fatter more that the cockpit is getting smaller.

AFE VB2 A4-size flightboard : AFE - Airplan Flight Equipment

(And I'm pretty certain they do other A4 models also, although I can't see them on their website right now.)

There are also several others on Pooleys' website, such as Knee / Flight Boards / Log Pads | Flight Boards and Trip kits | NFB070 | FB-7 Flight Board - Our most popular board (also available for left-hand users) .
