Farmers/Vets use 'em to get close up and nasty with cows' innards - Cheap at half the price.
Just slip a pair of Marigolds on to strengthen the hand bit and the arm gauntlet keeps yer sleeve dry..........

I've been in several group-ownership syndicates, and they all have the policy "newest member cleans the underside of the plane". I find that's a good way of keeping a bit warmer and dryer when washing the plane in cold weather. Provided you're not the newest member, of course.
