Brize Norton
Anyone know how friendly brize norton are in accepting a PA28 for ILS to land then VFR departure?
I want to go and pick up my girlfrinds brother from there, and while I was at it keep my ILS practiced.
Does anyone know the approach fee?

You may already know this but I'll post anyway;
Prior permission is required at all times to land at, or to make an approach to, RAF Brize Norton. Initial enquiries to use the airport should be addressed in the first instance to RAF Brize Norton Task Planning, either by e-mail to [email protected], fax to +44(0)1993 897354, or telephone to +44(0)1993 897551 / 897554.
I don't know how much tho! There is a part about "Training" flights but I'm not sure you could class your flight as one?

Lots of other people fly in there, so long as you have the £7.5m insurance cover and are prepared to pay the MOD landing fee of around £30+ just ring OPS and book in. Hardest job might be getting the bags transferred!

Couple of years back they wanted £160 for me to have a helo land there twice. Including fees and insurance etc...
